JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN / EXPERIENCED ELECTRICIAN

Hatchett Electrical Contracting is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician / Experienced Electrician to support residential, commercial, and service work throughout Northeast Florida.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone who values quality workmanship, safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a professional who can work independently, solve problems, and represent our company well with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems
- Install and service wiring, panels, lighting, generators, and related electrical components
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, proposals, and job specifications
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and code compliance
- Complete work orders and required documentation accurately
- Maintain tools, equipment, company vehicles, and job site cleanliness
- Follow OSHA, NEC, local code, and company safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Journeyman Electrician license or certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of recent electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to work independently and manage job responsibilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
- Full-time
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Occasional overtime available
- Jacksonville, FL and surrounding Northeast Florida areas
- Approximately 25% local travel
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Clean driving record and insurable under company policy
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to pass drug screening, including marijuana
- Ability to work at heights, in hot attics and crawl spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
