We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients in outpatient settings. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the support they need during their rehabilitation journey. A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and patient service is crucial for success in this position.Duties
- Assist physical therapists with patient care during therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and ensuring a safe environment.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
- Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Teaching patients how to use equipment and exercise routines , and providing information about follow-up care.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and concerns while fostering a supportive atmosphere.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, Ordering supplies and managing patient records.
Experience
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred to understand treatment protocols effectively.
- Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings, particularly in geriatrics or acute care environments, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and care.
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or in a similar role is beneficial but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
