Monday to Friday with some Saturdays as needed (Saturdays until 2pm)

Pay is between $15-$18/hr DOE. for CERTIFIED
Pay is $12-$14/hr for NON CERTFIED
**MUST BE A CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECH IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA if certified
Key Responsibilities of a Certified Pharmacy Technician:
- Prescription Processing: CPhTs receive prescriptions, verify patient information, and enter data into the pharmacy system. They may also measure and prepare medications, label bottles, and package prescriptions for dispensing.
- Inventory Management: They play a vital role in maintaining appropriate stock levels, tracking medication expiration dates, and managing inventory records.
- Customer Service: CPhTs often interact with patients, answering basic questions about medications, processing payments, and handling insurance claims.
- Compounding: Under the guidance of a pharmacist, they may also assist in preparing medications by mixing ingredients according to specific instructions.
- Administrative Tasks: CPhTs handle various administrative duties, including answering phones, filing paperwork, and managing communication between the pharmacy and healthcare providers.
- Ensuring Accuracy and Safety: CPhTs are responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring medications are properly labeled, and adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Must have a clean background and ability to pass a drug screen!Previous experience a plus!!
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
