About the Position:
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves as a trusted technical advisor for Level 3 Audio Visual’s key enterprise clients. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role partners with end users, technology leaders, and stakeholders to develop long-term AV technology strategies, architecture standards, and roadmaps that align with business objectives. The TAM acts as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, helping customers evaluate new technologies, validate solutions through proof-of-concept initiatives, and optimize their AV environments through ongoing consultation and strategic planning. This position is ideal for a highly experienced AV professional with strong design expertise, industry certifications, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions.
What You Will Do:
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary client-facing technical contact for strategic enterprise accounts, providing ongoing guidance across all aspects of AV technology planning.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to develop system requirements, technology roadmaps, and AV architecture strategies.
- Present technology solutions, design options, and industry innovations to support customer decision-making.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects to evaluate and validate emerging technologies and AV solutions.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, including formal Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), to discuss performance, standards, and future initiatives.
- Review and recommend enhancements to existing AV standards, infrastructure, and architecture decisions.
- Support vendor relationships and collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- AVIXA CTS-D Certification required.
- AQAV Certified Quality Designer (CQD) required.
- AQAV Certified Quality Technologist (CQT) required.
- Audinate Level 3 Certification.
- Q-SYS Level 2 Certification.
- Biamp Tesira Forte/Server/Server-IO Certification.
- Completion of Level 3 Installation Training – Networking Fundamentals.
Experience:
- 10+ years of audiovisual industry experience preferred.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers, technology leaders, and end users.
- Proven experience developing technical requirements, AV standards, and system architecture documentation.
- Experience presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of AV system design, networking, collaboration technologies, and industry best practices.

- Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism, quality, and technical excellence.
