Bateman-Gatrost Chiropractic in Independence MO is looking for a full-time Licensed Massage Therapist that is highly motivated, caring and desires to create a therapeutic experience for our patients. Prefer someone that does deep tissue, trigger point, prenatal, and myofacial release. Cupping technique would be a bonus.
We are a busy practice with 5 doctors and a full staff that does scheduling for you.
Hours that we are open are 8:00-12:30 and 1:30-6:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday. Pay $40/hr of massage.
Individual private room. Table, lotion, sheets, and laundry provided.
Office pays the massage therapist as a W2 employee, employer withholds and pays in their Taxes, Medicare and Social Security for them.
The daily tasks of a massage therapist/rehab therapist include:
- Performing massage therapy on a variety of patients.
- Collaborating with other health professionals to develop a course of treatment
- Documenting encounters with patients
- Cleaning and maintaining treatment rooms and materials
- Keeping accurate patient and business records
