We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Tech who will provide direct care for our individuals in a day treatment setting. Other duties will include meal preparation, medication administration, accurate and timely documentation of activities and logbooks, safely transporting individuals, and instructing clients on basic living skills. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7AM–3PM; driver required.
Starting Pay Rate: $10/hr
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED/high school equivalency certificate
- Valid driver’s license and be 21 with an insurable driving record to meet driving insurability requirements.
- Social security card
- Must obtain MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) — training provided on-site
- Knowledge of computer software and programs, Word, Excel, Outlook and type 40+ wpm.
- Employment requires a 5 day paid orientation held in Marion County, AL, Monday-Friday, 8:30a-4p.
