Goldenrod Studios is a boutique interior design studio and home furnishings showroom dedicated to creating timeless, thoughtfully curated spaces. We believe exceptional design begins with exceptional service, and we’re looking for a Store Manager who can lead our showroom with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail.
This is not a traditional retail management role. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a luxury, design-focused environment, loves building relationships, and isn’t afraid to wear many hats. Every day is different—from helping clients select furniture to leading the sales team, managing operations, and ensuring every detail of the showroom reflects our brand.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the daily operations of our showroom with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Deliver an elevated customer experience from the moment clients walk through the door.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate the retail team while maintaining a positive culture.
- Drive sales through exceptional customer service and relationship building.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day store operations.
- Maintain showroom merchandising and ensure displays are beautifully presented.
- Oversee inventory, receiving, pricing, and vendor coordination.
- Assist with furniture orders, client follow-up, and order management.
- Handle customer concerns with confidence and care.
- Collaborate with our interior design team to support projects and showroom events.
- Continuously look for ways to improve operations and enhance the client experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of retail management experience (luxury retail, furniture, home décor, or lifestyle brands preferred).
- A natural leader who enjoys developing people and creating a strong team culture.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn retail software quickly.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and solutions-oriented.
- Passion for interiors, design, furniture, or home décor is a major plus.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excell
- Must be able to write professional emails
- Must be willing to work Saturdays and during Holiday Retail Timeframes ie. Small Business Saturday, Black Friday, Christmas Eve.
