A global manufacturer seeks an experienced Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a commercial/industrial facility. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliability. Experience with medium-voltage systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment up to 480V
- Install conduit, panelboards, disconnects, transfer switches, lighting, and communication cabling
- Diagnose electrical issues, replace components, and test systems for proper operation
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS work orders
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and work orders
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety
- Support facility maintenance projects and collaborate with the maintenance team
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency outages as needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical theory, and three-phase electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems
- Familiarity with CMMS software preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc-flash safety, and PPE requirements
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently
