```Duties```
- Monitor activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers in need
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all guests
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Perform basic pool cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
```Qualifications```
- Must be a strong swimmer with the ability to swim long distances and tread water for extended periods of time
- Possess current Lifeguard certification, including CPR and First Aid training
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with pool maintenance
As a Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests at our pool facility. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor swimming areas, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies. Additionally, you will provide exceptional guest service by answering questions and maintaining a clean and inviting pool environment.
To excel in this role, you must be a strong swimmer with the ability to perform rescues if necessary. You should also possess current Lifeguard certification, including CPR and First Aid training. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with guests on a regular basis. Additionally, you must be able to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations with professionalism.
This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for long periods of time and may need to perform heavy lifting for pool maintenance tasks. Prior experience in lifeguarding or a related field is preferred.
