The role
We’re hiring a part-time Bodega Ambassador to be the face and energy of the shop. You’ll welcome people, curate product displays, chat with customers, keep the space feeling warm and alive, and help keep the aesthetic on point. This is a people-first role for someone stylish, talkative, and genuinely excited about creating community.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, start conversations, and build rapport with regulars and newcomers.
- Help customers discover snacks, gifts, and curated items; make personalized suggestions.
- Maintain product displays, shelving, and merchandising to match the bodega-ish aesthetic.
- Keep the space tidy, cozy, and welcoming (light cleaning, restocking, organizing).
- Run the register/point-of-sale for purchases and handle basic cash/card transactions.
- Assist with small events, pop-ups, or collaborations when they occur.
- Represent the brand on the floor — dress with intention and embody the vibe.
Who we’re looking for
- Part-time availability. Flexible schedule but reliable.
- Outgoing, genuine, and conversational — you enjoy meeting and chatting with people.
- Strong sense of personal style and an eye for visual merchandising.
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash/card transactions.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a small team.
- Prior retail, hospitality, or community-facing experience a plus, but personality matters most.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
