Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic Nail Technician to join our vibrant high end beauty team! Your expertise in various manicure and pedicure techniques, along with your knowledge of nail extensions, gel manicures, and sanitation protocols, will ensure a safe and luxurious experience for every guest. Duties
- Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic and nail extension applications, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Apply color theory principles to create customized nail designs that match client preferences and current trends.
- Perform advanced nail treatments such as dermabrasion, disinfection procedures, and esthetic laser treatments when applicable.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean environment for clients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable services or retail products, and upsell additional treatments or products.
- Manage retail sales of nail care products and accessories while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Stay current on industry trends in nail art, techniques like nail extensions or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings to provide innovative services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work.
- Certification in cosmetology or related field with specific training in nail care techniques such as acrylic application, gel manicures, and body waxing.
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices.
- Familiarity with color theory, nail extensions, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, and barbering is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their individual preferences.
- Strong retail math skills for upselling products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
