Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replacing linens to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to keep all flooring looking pristine and well-maintained
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and supplies to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Adhere to all health regulations and company policies related to cleanliness and sanitation
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and floor care is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrates a strong foundation in customer service and cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in advancing within the role
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
