About Us
Integrative Recovery Care (IRC) is a West Virginia licensed behavioral health center in Huntington providing outpatient mental health and substance use services. We are launching our Youth & Family Pathways Program, a new child and adolescent program serving ages 5 to 17, and we are hiring a licensed therapist to help build it from the ground up. This is a chance to shape a new program, not inherit someone else's caseload.
About the Role
You will provide outpatient therapy to children (ages 5 to 11) and adolescents (ages 12 to 17) and their families. The program includes individual, family, and group therapy, a strong family engagement component, psychiatric medication management support, and care coordination. You will work alongside a Program Supervisor, prescribers, and care coordination staff as part of a treatment team.
What You Will Do
- Complete diagnostic assessments and psychosocial evaluations for children and adolescents
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate approaches
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans with clients and parents/guardians
- Engage parents, guardians, and caregivers as active partners in treatment
- Coordinate with our medication management providers, care coordinator, schools, and community partners
- Complete timely documentation in our electronic health record
- Follow West Virginia mandated reporting and crisis response protocols
What You Need
- Active, unrestricted West Virginia clinical license: LICSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (required)
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field (required)
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families (strongly preferred)
- Training in child/adolescent evidence-based models such as TF-CBT, PCIT, or play therapy (a plus)
- Ability to pass WV CARES fingerprint-based background check and child protective services registry checks
What We Offer
- $50,000 to $65,000 per year, based on licensure, experience & arrangement.
- Full-time, part-time and contract arrangements considered
- Outpatient setting with a Monday to Friday Flexible schedule; no overnight call
- The opportunity to help design and launch a brand-new youth program
- Supportive team including a Medical Director, Program Supervisor, and dedicated care coordination staff
