About the Role
Allmodular Systems is seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Furniture Modular Installer to join our growing field operations team. In this role, you will install, assemble, reconfigure, and service office furniture systems at customer locations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of workmanship.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This position plays a critical role in creating functional workspaces and ensuring customer satisfaction on every project.

Key ResponsibilitiesFurniture Installation & Assembly
- Install and assemble modular office furniture, systems furniture, casegoods, seating, filing systems, tables, accessories, and wall-mounted components.
- Load, unload, stage, and transport furniture and materials safely.
- Read and interpret furniture plans, blueprints, elevations, and installation drawings.
- Assemble, adjust, and detail furniture components to manufacturer specifications.
- Install and connect systems furniture electrical components when required.
- Perform punch-list corrections, reconfigurations, and service work as needed.
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Project Execution
- Complete assigned projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Analyze project requirements and prepare appropriate tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Adapt to changing field conditions and resolve installation challenges professionally.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout project completion.
- Communicate project progress and site issues to supervisors and team members.
Customer Service
- Interact professionally with customers, building management, contractors, and coworkers.
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer requests and concerns.
- Maintain a positive attitude and represent Allmodular Systems professionally at all job sites.
- Support the company's commitment to outstanding customer satisfaction.
Equipment & Safety
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
- Protect customer property, furniture, and facilities during installation activities.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Experience assembling and installing office furniture or related products preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and installation drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry furniture, equipment, and materials throughout the workday.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to customer job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience installing modular office furniture systems.
- Experience with major furniture manufacturers and product lines.
- Knowledge of systems furniture electrical components and installation.
- Experience driving a box truck, cube truck, or similar vehicle.
- Understanding of furniture logistics, receiving, and material handling processes.
- Union membership in good standing or willingness to participate in the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters apprenticeship and training programs.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move furniture components and materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on active job sites for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment required for furniture installation.
