Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and guest relations to foster a positive atmosphere
- Support guest needs proactively in both fine dining environments and lively nightclub settings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving or host/hostess positions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightlife environments is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculations are essential
