Position Summary
The Treasury Payment Specialist is responsible for processing company payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and other electronic payments. This role ensures payments are accurate, properly authorized, and processed on time while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage recurring payment cycles in a deadline-driven environment. The role also requires a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism due to access to sensitive financial and banking information.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily and weekly payment runs and approved disbursements, including ACH, wire transfers, and other electronic payments.
- Verify payment requests are properly authorized and supported by required documentation to ensure compliance with company policy and internal controls.
- Post approved payment transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Maintain vendor payment records and banking information.
- Process and post intercompany payments.
- Investigate and resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Support audit and reporting requests as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in payment processing, treasury, or accounts payable.
- Experience processing ACH, wire transfers, and electronic payments.
- Experience with D365 F&O is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
