We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and handling, with a strong focus on quality and customer service. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
- Ensure all meat is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Operate various kitchen equipment including knives, saws, and grinders with precision and care.
- Package meat products for display or sale while adhering to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area in compliance with health standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat cuts and preparation methods.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or production within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food handling practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
