We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking a Veterinary Assistant with at least one year of experience who is confident, compassionate, and committed to patient care. Strong communication skills and a desire to continue learning are essential. Experience with IDEXX Cornerstone software is a huge plus but not required.
Required Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- General veterinary knowledge (vaccines, heartworm, flea/tick prevention)
- Medication dispensing and administration
- Surgical support: prep, monitoring, and recovery
- Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs preferred
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time: 38-40 hours/week
- Schedule: 4 day shifts per week 7am-6pm
- No weekends
Benefits:
- $150 uniform allowance every 6 months (for full-time employees)
- Employee discount after 90 days

Requirements:
- Veterinary experience: Minimum 1 year (Required)
- Location: Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Greensboro, NC 27410
- All candidates are subject to a background check prior to employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
