The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, customer-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. As a Commercial HVAC Service Apprentice, you will assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems while developing the technical skills needed to advance into a Service Technician role.

Assist experienced technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment.

Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.

Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.

Assist with equipment startups, repairs, and replacements.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Safely operate ladders, scissors lifts, and genie lifts.

Learn basic sheet metal fabrication and installation practices.

Develop knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Innovative Air professionally at all job sites.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

HVAC trade school enrollment or completion preferred.

Basic understanding of HVAC systems and tools.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Ability to lift, carry, and work with HVAC equipment and materials.
