We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing workforce
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns to boost sales
- Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting to ensure financial health of the store
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge
- Manage inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, purchasing, and stock replenishment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and store procedures
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Supervise shift management, cash handling, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations for accurate sales reporting
- Utilize marketing techniques to attract new customers and retain existing ones through community engagement
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, merchandising, POS systems, and retail math
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development
- Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to handle customer service situations with professionalism and tact
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred; leadership qualities are essential
