Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our client base through proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic sales initiatives. Base salary plus a competitive commission structure.
Duties
- Prospect and cold call targeted shipper accounts daily
- Qualify opportunities (volume, lanes, pain points, decision makers)
- Set and hold zoom / in person meetings with shippers
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and activity tracking
- Manage transition of account to AM'S
- Meet weekly with Sales manager to discuss top prospects
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or business development roles, preferably within technology or software industries
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at various levels
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with outbound calling, warm calling, telemarketing, or marketing campaigns is highly desirable
- Knowledge of CRM software, technical sales processes, and customer service principles
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting and relationship management

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
