Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles, utilizing advanced tools and technologies to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Diagnose automotive electrical systems and troubleshoot issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify problems and determine necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Skills
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of automotive service technician experience.
