Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Plate food attractively and efficiently to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, garnishing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team in food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service—fine dining experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
