The Clinton County Health Department is currently seeking applications for a full-time Public Health Nurse.
Responsibilities include vaccine administration, WIC services administration, communicable disease investigation and response, lead testing, pregnancy testing, and other Public Health related duties as assigned. Qualified applicants must have a valid RN (Registered Nurse) license in the State of Missouri, and one year of nursing experience in Public Health, or a related field. A Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for education, and education may be substituted for experience for the right candidate.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving history, a clean work history, and be willing to undergo a criminal background check as a condition of employment. Compensation is competitive, with Health Insurance, Paid Vacation, and Paid Medical Leave included.
This position requires local travel, and infrequent overnight regional travel for training.
