Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for supporting and executing manufacturing processes across assigned product lines and operations. This role focuses on contract manufacturing of +5K lines BOM products; drive process development and documentation, first article approvals, yield and scrap reduction, and hands-on problem solving for production and quality issues.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Serve as project leader for for +5K lines BOM product
- Develop manufacturing and inspection strategies for new products
- Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions, OMS, and BKMs
- Identify root causes of yield loss and recommend corrective actions
- Assist in implementing and verifying corrective measures
- Participate in first-build process development and documentation for assemblies
- Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM) efforts
- Assist in identifying and implementing manufacturing and inspection cost reductions
- Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure consistent, quality part production
- Review manufacturing costs and provide input to support profitability improvements
- Design or recommend tooling and fixtures for the manufacturing team
- Identify and support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Create CAD models and drawings as needed
Essential Skills:
· Solid project coordination and organizational skills
· Good analytical and reporting skills (Microsoft Office applications)
· Clear written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with moderate supervision
· Familiarity with ERP systems
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; semiconductor industry experience preferred
· 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
· Proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, and
· Familiarity with DOE, 8D, and JMP or Minitab
· Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing methodologies

Pay: $116,000.00 - $137,000.00 per year
