IL Gelato Hawaii is opening up new Team Member and Shift Lead positions across our Waikiki stores. Whether you're looking for your first job or you're ready to step into leadership, we want people who bring good energy, show up ready to learn, and want to build something they're proud of.
We're a family owned, locally rooted company with 15 years on Oahu, six stores island wide, and a founder who represented Team USA at the Gelato World Championship. Our gelato is the real deal, and so is how we treat our team.
No experience? No problem. We train everyone from day one and promote from within. A lot of our current managers started right where you'd be starting.
Your Path Here: Team Member → Shift Lead → Assistant Manager → Store Manager
If you've got leadership in you, this is where it gets built. We're actively looking for people who want to grow into Shift Lead and beyond, but you don't need experience to start that path. Show us the work ethic and we'll show you the way up.

- $21 to $23 per hour

A Day in the Role
- Delivering guest experiences with genuine warmth and aloha
- Scooping award winning gelato and crafting specialty espresso drinks
- Preparing fresh acai bowls, crepes, and waffles
- Running the register and handling transactions accurately
- Keeping the store clean, stocked, and guest ready
- Staying sharp and steady during high volume rushes
- Leading and supporting the team during your shift (Shift Lead)
You'll leave with real skills worth putting on a resume in hospitality, specialty coffee, food and beverage operations, and, if you're chasing the Shift Lead track, team leadership.
