Berger Orthodontics is growing and in order to thrive we are looking to fill some very important shoes! We are a single doctor / single location private orthodontic practice. We opened our doors in December 2020.
We are looking for a Part/Full-time Scheduling Coordinator that is warm and welcoming to everyone that comes through our doors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls in a warm, professional manner
- Reach out to new patient leads to scheduling their orthodontic consultations. You will inform them what to expect and send them an email with the health history forms.
- Check for missed calls and text messages from the previous nights/weekends to ensure we are responding to all patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments before patients leave the office
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns or complaints
- All positions in the office are expected to help with the general maintenance and cleanliness of the office.
-Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:30
- All team members participate in 1 to 3 weekend marketing events per year (i.e. tabling event at local school events). You will be paid for your time at these events.
Qualifications:
- Dental experience preferred
- Warm, outgoing, welcoming personality a must
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable with using Windows PC's and learning new software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
