Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic School Activities Director to lead and coordinate a vibrant array of extracurricular programs and student engagement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee a diverse range of extracurricular activities, clubs, sports events, and community service projects that align with the school's mission and student interests.
- Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of activity coordinators, volunteers, and support staff to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Develop comprehensive activity calendars, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics for school events to maximize participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community partners to foster a supportive environment for student involvement.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure safety standards are maintained during all activities while promoting an inclusive atmosphere.
- Utilize educational administrative software and productivity tools to track participation metrics, manage schedules, and generate reports on program outcomes.
- Evaluate program effectiveness regularly by gathering feedback from students and staff to continuously improve offerings and increase participation rates.
Experience
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school activities director within an educational setting.
- Demonstrated success in program development, team management, and personnel supervision within schools or early childhood education centers.
- Extensive background in working with students across various age groups, including early childhood education environments.
- Strong knowledge of educational administrative software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing school or university programs with a focus on education administration or higher education administration is highly desirable.
- Prior roles involving childcare or early childhood education center experience will be considered an asset.
- Exceptional writing skills for creating clear communications, reports, and promotional materials related to school activities.
