- Nights, 7p-7a, 3x12s, 36 hours, Every other weekend and every other holiday
- MA RN License & BLS (ARC or AHA)
- Required Telemetry & Meditech experience required
- Floating possible to similar units Tele test given on first day of orientation
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor vital signs, perform physical examinations, and assess patient conditions regularly to detect changes requiring intervention.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following strict aseptic techniques and medication protocols.
- Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory tests, specimen collection, and diagnostic imaging procedures like CT scans or sonography.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations utilizing critical care response procedures, airway management skills, and trauma medicine protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies including pain management, discharge planning, and post-acute care instructions.
