Sweet Spirits Preschool & Child Care is seeking a warm, dependable, and energetic Substitute Teacher to join our team in Jackson, Wyoming. This position works with children from birth through 5 years of age, supporting classrooms as needed while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Position Details
- Position: Substitute Teacher at two locations
- Schedule: Set days/on call (with opportunities for additional substitute hours)
- Location: Jackson, Wyoming
- Hours: Full-day shifts (7:45 - 5:15)
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing, responsive care for children from birth through 5 years old.
- Follow classroom lesson plans and engage children in developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Assist with daily routines including diapering, toileting, feeding, meals, bottle preparation, nap time, outdoor play, and transitions.
- Supervise children indoors and outdoors while ensuring their health and safety at all times.
- Use positive guidance and classroom management techniques to support children's emotional regulation and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Wyoming Child Care Licensing regulations.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Qualifications
- Three YEARS of classroom experience or equivelant
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children required.
- Early Childhood Education coursework required.
- CPR/First Aid Certification reqired.
- Must successfully pass all Wyoming background check requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, flexible, patient, and professional.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.

Pay: $22.12 - $26.64 per hour
Work Location: In person
