As part of this commitment, HealthyU Clinics partners with the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency to provide graduate medical education. Physicians in this position are employees of HealthyU Clinics and serve as Core Faculty for the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency, supporting the residency's educational mission while maintaining an active clinical practice.
The Core Faculty / Family Medicine Physician is employed by HealthyU Clinics and serves as Core Faculty for the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency. This position combines direct patient care with resident and medical student education, faculty development, curriculum implementation, scholarly activity, and program improvement.
The physician works collaboratively with the Program Director, residency leadership, and HealthyU Clinics leadership to ensure excellence in clinical care and graduate medical education while meeting ACGME accreditation standards.
This position is employed by HealthyU Clinics. The physician serves as Core Faculty for the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency through HealthyU Clinics' educational partnership with Abrazo Health. The physician is expected to fulfill both the clinical responsibilities of HealthyU Clinics and the educational responsibilities of the residency program.
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency.
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the practicing state.
DEA license (or eligibility).
Demonstrated interest or experience in medical education.
Prior teaching or faculty experience in an academic or residency setting preferred.
