Class A Driver/Laborer
The position I have in Las Vegas is for a Class A Driver with at least 2 yr experience. He must know how to drive a manual transmission ( 10sp, 13sp, or 18sp). The truck is a 3 axle Peterbuilt Tractor to haul a flatbed trailer or pneumatic cement trailer. The candidate needs to have working knowledge of Straps, Chains and Binders, and Cement Pneumatic experience. The candidate needs to know how to secure loads properly and within FMCSA Standards. He will also need to know weight limits and how to scale trucks and trailers.
The driver will be required to haul various types of loads, from palletized to large equipment, and bulk cement.
This position does require working out of town 30% of the time. Usually moving equipment from one site to another.
The position is a full time position. We operate on a 70hr 8 Day Interstate Work Week. 11 Hours driving 14 Hours on duty.

We also offer incentive pay when out of town work is required, and per diem.
