This position requires an individual with a minimum of 3 years experience running roll to roll & flat bed printers along with flat bed cutters. This individual will need to be able to handle all printing, laminating , scheduling and management of all production and our team.

The Production Manager reports directly to the owner and operations director.
This position is primarily responsible for producing various wide-format specialty printing products from vehicle graphics to signage. This position plays a critical role in the companies profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
75% Wide Format Printing and Production (including measuring, finishing and team management)
10% Inventory Management and Equipment Maintenance
15% Miscellaneous (i.e., shop & equipment upkeep, deliveries and social media posting)
Skills:
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite particularly Illustrator.
Must have experience with Onyx RIP software.
Must have experience with Canon Colorado Roll Feed Printers.
Must have experience with Laminators.
Must have experience with Flat Bed Cutters.
Preferred experience with Mimaki UV Flatbed - But not necessary - Will train.
Preferred experience with Summa Router - But not necessary - Will train.
Preferred experience in the vehicle wrap and sign industry utilizing design and setup of wraps and signs.
Must have experience with Microsoft and Google Calendars, and basic computer operating systems etc.
Job Scheduling and Workflow Management:
Organize and schedule print jobs to optimize production efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
Manage workflow processes to minimize bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
Staff Management:
Manage staff involved in wide format printing operations, including operators, designers, and maintenance personnel.
Provide ongoing training and support to enhance skills and efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance and Upkeep:
Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of wide format printing equipment.
Coordinate repairs and upgrades to maintain optimal productivity and output quality.
Quality Control:
Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all printed materials meet the required standards and specifications.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Client Communication and Coordination:
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and expectations for each project.
Provide updates on project status, timelines, and potential issues to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Material Procurement and Inventory Management:
Manage the procurement of printing materials, inks, substrates, and other supplies needed for wide format printing.
Monitor and maintain an organized inventory of materials to prevent shortages and waste.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines related to wide format printing operations.
Technology Integration and Innovation:
Stay updated on advancements in wide format printing technology and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and capabilities.
