Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains constant surveillance of individuals in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of all individuals in the event of an emergency.
- Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Advise residents and guests of improper activities or hazards and enforces and adheres to facility rules and regulations.
- Always present a professional appearance and attitude. Must follow NFC Uniform and Grooming Standards.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports.
- Accurately record time in/out by following the Company’s Time and Attendance system.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must be CPR Certified with a valid certification issued by an accredited source of training.
- Must be Lifeguard Certified with a valid certification issued by an accredited source of training.
- Must always renew current Lifeguard and CPR certifications before their expiration.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
- Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Effective communication skills and positive engagement with clients.
INDNFC
At the time of this posting, the pay offered is $18 to $22 per hour. Historically, this position pays $17 to $20 per hour.
