Paraprofessionals provide academic instruction and support to students under the guidance of the teacher.
- This position is 3.75 hours/day - 18.75 hours/week
- Paraprofessional I starting pay range for the 2026/27 school year is $18.25 - $23.12/hour, dependant upon experience.
- Title I paraprofessionals are educational support staff members who work under the supervision of a certified teacher to help provide instructional support to students, particularly those who are struggling academically and qualify for services under Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
- Title I paraprofessionals assist students in small groups or one-to-one, especially in reading, math, and writing. They reinforce lessons and skills introduced by the certified teacher and adapt classroom activities to meet the students' learning needs.
ONE of the following:
- Associate's Degree in any field OR
- 32+ semester credits of higher education OR
- Passing score on the Parapro Praxis Assessment Test

(If the successful applicant is hired prior meeting the minimum qualifications, they will need to pass the Parapro test within 90 days of hire. Accordingly, there will be a pay adjustments.)
