About Impresso
Coffee business started in 2019 primarily focused on catering and now have our first coffee shop. We roast our coffee and do as much as we can in house in our office/roastery/kitchen in Kensington. Our shop is neighbor(hood) focused, offering a quick, easy, affordable beverage/bite, morning and afternoon option. Small 400sqft shop. Take-away only. Usual coffee shop faire plus smoothies, matcha, juices, lemonades, and other experiments. We have bagels, small assortment of pastries, and other grab 'n go. We are looking for someone to assist us in managing our shop, experience and being comfortable with assigning tasks, communicating with staff and owners, maintaining the store, handling complaints, scheduling, placing orders, answering the phone are important.
Duties
- Order milks and other perishable for delivery.
- Maintain store cleanliness.
- Making sure daily and weekly clean list is being performed
- Maintain and update stock lists
- Make all kinds of drinks
- prepare cold brew coffees and teas
- Be nice, kind, considerate
- preparing bagels and other bites at times
- restocking
- Keep co-workers busy, delegating work.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in quick-service environments.
- Familiarity with catering is a plus.
