Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering menus and answering initial questions about the menu and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with basic food preparation when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or bartending is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required
