We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Associate/Team Lead to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on retail sales with leadership responsibilities, ensuring exceptional customer service, effective team management, and smooth store operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong desire to drive sales and motivate others. Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assist with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance their shopping experience
- Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies
- Lead and supervise team members, providing training & development to foster a high-performing sales environment
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate purchasing activities, manage stock levels, and ensure proper inventory management practices are followed
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting efforts to build a strong team
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and promote ongoing sales campaigns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales with supervisory or team management responsibilities
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and communication to effectively engage with diverse clientele
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for connecting with a broader customer base
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising staff, training new employees, and managing shift operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, and store management best practices
- Experience in recruiting, employee orientation, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting is advantageous
- Exceptional time management skills combined with strong organizational abilities to oversee multiple store functions seamlessly
