Minimum 6 months experience working with children, ages 3 months – 5 years

AZ Fingerprint clearance card, or ability to obtain

Being a willing and helpful support to the teaching staff by following their directions and anticipating where your help is needed (e.g. if a teacher's attention is focused on one child, make sure you are supervising the rest of the group).

Maintaining the confidentiality of children, parents and staff at all times

Assisting in maintaining an orderly, attractive learning environment

Following Center policies and procedures to assure a safe and healthy environment (i.e. wash hands at appropriate times, follow proper diapering and sanitizing procedures, do clean-up chores as needed, and follow the Center's sickness policy)

Reading all articles, classroom newsletters and/or teacher updates given to you by the teaching staff and/or the director

Adhere to the Center's "no gossip" policy
The start date, to occur no sooner than July 1st of the current aid year, of this position will be determined by the hiring supervisor after an applicant is hired. This position has a standard end of assignment date of June 30th of the current aid year. Assignment may end sooner or be extended depending FWS eligibility, availability and/or department need.
