Overview
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Worker to keep our facilities in top condition, ensuring a safe, functional, and attractive environment for guests and staff alike. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from landscaping to general repairs, to support our high standards of hospitality.
Duties
- Perform landscaping duties including lawn care, mowing, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance to enhance curb appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators for construction, hardscape installation, and site improvements.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, fixtures, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage irrigation systems and implement gardening practices to promote healthy plant growth.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain clear pathways and parking areas.
- Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments.
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting work sites and adhering to proper procedures during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and systems.
- Experience with lawn care, landscaping, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating heavy machinery such as excavators.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and tree care methods.
- Ability to perform construction-related tasks including hardscape installation and general building maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
