Overton Security is currently hiring for an Unarmed Community Ambassador in the Pleasanton area for a local business park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Schedule(s) Available:
1) PT Weekend Day- Shift - 8AM - 4:30PM
2) FT Swing Shift - Wednesday through Sunday 4PM - 1230AM
3) FT Grave Shift - Mon - Fri, 12AM - 8:30AM
Pay Rate: $26.26/hr paid weekly
Patrol Type: Mobile and Foot
Valid CA Drivers License with a clean DMV record is required
Duties:
- Must be able to utilize Current Technology for job performance and report writing
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor perimeter fencing for any breaches or damage
- Provide customer service to the general public
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and for important occurrences.
- Communicate with local fire and police, Overton Management, SOC, and the customer.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor towards employees, coworkers, etc…
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Have a current BSIS Guard Card
- Have adequate English communication skills, both oral and written
- Have the ability to utilize wireless technology via mobile applications
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
- Must have a neat and professional appearance and hygiene standards
