Collections & Compliance Specialist
LRM Leasing Company – Industry Leader in Semi-Truck Leasing
LRM Leasing is a national leader in diesel over-the-road trucking leasing, supporting 700+ owner-operators and motor carriers across the country. We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Collections & Compliance Specialist to join our growing team.
This role combines account collections, risk management oversight, and other compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, assertive yet professional, and comfortable handling financial conversations while maintaining strong compliance standards.
Compensation: Base salary + performance-based bonuses
Key Responsibilities
Collections & Account Management
- Manage and collect on delinquent lease accounts
- Communicate with lessees regarding past-due balances and payment arrangements
- Monitor payment promises and enforce company collection policies
- Coordinate with management on escalated accounts and lease terminations
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation in CRM systems
- Ensure all collections activities comply with company policy
Compliance & Risk Oversight
- Monitor insurance coverage compliance for all active leases
- Track vehicle registrations and ensure timely renewals
- Oversee toll account management and reporting
- Monitor maintenance compliance and inspection requirements
- Assist with internal audits and documentation controls
- Support overall portfolio risk management initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Strong collections experience (automotive, trucking, or finance industry preferred)
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Extremely proficient typing skills
- High computer efficiency (Excel, SharePoint, CRM systems)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Functions effectively as part of a team
- Broad understanding of the trucking or automotive industry preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
