We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and with a warm smile as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and available seating options.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Utilize POS systems to manage reservations and track guest preferences when applicable.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and seating arrangements.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest services in restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
