OTR - Occupational Therapist Registered
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist Registered to join our team at Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation Center located in Merrillville, Indiana. Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents in our skilled nursing facility
Provide occupational therapy services, including but not limited to: occupational therapy interventions, adaptive equipment training, and cognitive retraining
Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Document resident progress and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and regulations
Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment and services provided
Requirements:
Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Minimum of 0 years of experience in an occupational therapy setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff members
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
