We are looking for a Product Designer to help shape the everyday experience of a fintech and blockchain product. You'll work hand-in-hand with engineering from early concept through shipped feature, translating complex financial and crypto workflows, custody, on/off-ramps, stablecoin settlements, account management, into interfaces that feel simple and trustworthy to real customers. This is a hands-on execution role: you'll own design for a product area day to day, partner closely with an engineering counterpart on feasibility and sequencing, and bring both craft and judgment to decisions that affect people's money.
- Partner directly with engineering throughout the product development cycle, from early exploration through implementation and QA, to make sure designs are technically sound and ship as intended.
- Design end-to-end, customer-facing product experiences for a live fintech/blockchain product, from flows and wireframes to polished, production-ready UI.
- Build and maintain user personas grounded in real customer research, and use them to guide feature prioritization and design decisions across the team.
- Design for blockchain-specific workflows, wallet connections, transaction signing, on-chain status and confirmations, custody and key-management flows, in ways that stay approachable for non-crypto-native users.
- Run and synthesize lightweight user research (interviews, usability tests, feedback review) to validate designs before and after launch.
- Contribute to and help evolve a shared design system, keeping patterns consistent across web and product surfaces.
- Present design work and rationale to product, engineering, and leadership; incorporate feedback quickly without losing sight of the user problem.
- Balance regulatory, security, and trust considerations inherent to fintech and crypto products with the goal of a clean, low-friction customer experience.
- 3–5 years of product design experience, with a portfolio showing shipped, customer-facing consumer or fintech products, not just concept work.
- Direct experience designing for blockchain, crypto, or web3 products (wallets, exchanges, custody, DeFi, or similar) you understand the interaction patterns and trust challenges unique to the space.
- Demonstrated experience building and using personas or other customer-research artifacts to inform real product decisions.
- A track record of working closely with engineers day to day, you think about feasibility and edge cases as part of the design process, not after the fact.
- Strong craft in interaction design and visual design, with fluency in Figma (or equivalent) and modern design-system practices.
- Comfort designing for regulated, high-trust products where clarity, error prevention, and security cues matter as much as visual polish.
- Clear communication skills, you can explain design decisions to engineers, PMs, and leadership in terms each audience cares about.
- Experience designing wallet, custody, or on/off-ramp flows specifically.
- Familiarity with prototyping in code or working directly in front-end tooling to speed up handoff.
- Background in a regulated industry (banking, payments, real estate, insurance) in addition to crypto.
- Experience contributing to or building a design system from scratch.
- Real ownership over customer-facing surfaces at a fast-moving fintech/blockchain company your work ships.
- Tight collaboration with engineering rather than a hand-off-and-hope model.
- Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.
