Capital Express, an ADL Final Mile Company, is one of the fastest-growing final mile logistics providers in the country. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager in Tulsa, OK to oversee daily operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Participates in the recruiting, hiring, and training of staff
- Organizes and oversees the staff work and schedules.
- Conducts performance evaluations in a timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and terminations as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategically supervises the entire operational flow (inbound, outbound, routing, scheduling)
- Coordinates between the warehouse, drivers/couriers, dispatch, and customer service.
- Ensures KPIs are met for service levels, metrics, costs, and efficiency.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and safety regulations
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software and Microsoft Office software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred
- 3-5 years of logistics experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 pounds repetitively.
- Prolonged periods (8 hours daily) of standing, bending, reaching, and twisting.
- The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
Background check and drug screening are required
