Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated limited license Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office X-ray, with skills as a medical assistant preferred. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to support patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
Duties
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, maneuvering the C-Arm for procedures under direct physician guidance and manipulation.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret medical imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
- Provide patient education regarding the imaging process and any necessary preparations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of medical imaging.
- Stay current with advancements in medical office radiologic technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Certification as a limited Radiologic Technologist with State of TN medical operators license
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
- Strong understanding of physiology related to imaging practices.
- Ability to work effectively in fast pass environment and under pressure.
