Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services, conducting patient assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. This role requires a commitment to patient education and advocacy, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care. Ultrasound experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history .
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding thyroid medication based on labs & patient concern.
Requirements
- Must have NP or PA degree from an accredited program.
- Current certification and state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of critical care practices and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with endocrinology, family medicine or gynecology principles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and advocating for patients’ health needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
