Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Install new appliances and equipment, ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct HVAC system repairs including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment to maintain climate control and product integrity.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective repair solutions efficiently.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions to support operational transparency and compliance.
Skills
- Strong appliance repair skills with experience servicing kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, HVAC/R systems, and related appliances.
- Proven service technician experience with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex mechanical systems.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, refrigeration technology, and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to perform appliance installation and maintenance with precision and safety awareness.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices including inventory management of parts and tools.
- Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior technicians or supporting team collaboration during projects.
