Position Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a key role in providing support to the supply chain department and other internal customers. The Analyst will develop reporting and metrics to drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain and manage supplier costing and list pricing in the ERP system.
Job Duties

Gather and analyze data for the management team to support continuous improvement projects for the Supply Chain department

Maintain and update supplier cost files, plus make any needed adjustments in ERP system

Monitor and report supplier on-time-delivery performance, as well as other key department KPIs to Director of Corporate Supply Chain

Utilize Excel and ERP system to find, retrieve, filter, and validate data

Drive analyses from various aspects of the operation that clearly shows issues and required actions

Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements to Supply Chain Management
-
Develop metrics to track performance of improvement plans
-
Research needed data to support regulatory compliance requirements

Support the corporate inventory right-sizing strategy
-
Automate work currently done manually in Excel
-
Populate and issue standard weekly/monthly reporting for all areas of Supply Chain
-
Other duties as assigned
Education
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics and Marketing or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, direct related job experience where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement
Experience & Skills
-
1-3 years of proven experience in a business environment with analytical work experience

Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting and sharing findings to drive improvement with management

Advanced Excel ability (pivot tables/v-lookups/macros) required

MRP and demand planning experience is a plus

Excellent math and spreadsheet skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required

Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, partners, and team members

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and planning skills are required
-
Must have advanced writing and communication skills and be able to interact with management, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various functions of the organization

Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
-
Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E-verify
